PRIVACY POLICY

PRIVACY STATEMENT pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

For UNOX S.p.A. (“UNOX”), your privacy and the security of your personal data are extremely important.
This Privacy Statement explains how UNOX collects, stores and uses your personal data collected when you use our applications, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and in accordance with any other applicable legislative provision of the European Union or Member States on privacy (collectively, “Privacy Regulations”).
a) Who is the Data Controller?
The Data Controller is UNOX, with registered offices in Via Majorana 22, 35010 Cadoneghe (PD).
For any information or requests in relation to the processing of your personal data, you can write to the address privacy@unox.com or phone +39 049 8657 530.
b) Which data do we process and why?
UNOX needs some of your personal data (name and surname, telephone number, address, ID, browsing data, contacts, chat conversations, bank details relating to transactions) for you to be able to use the service, e.g. so that you can create or modify your user profile, use the application, contact our assistance service, or so that we can process or respond to your requests or send you your first authentication code. In these cases, it is necessary to process your data to execute a contract you are party to or to execute pre-contractual measures adopted at your request.
Only with your specific consent can UNOX process your personal data to send you marketing communications.
Furthermore, UNOX may process your personal data in order to fulfil legal obligations or any requests received from the authorities or for its own legitimate interests, e.g. anti-fraud activities.
If processing requires your consent for one or more processing purposes, you are reminded that you can only provide this if you are over 14 years old. If you are younger than 14 years old, the consent must be provided by a parent or individual with parental responsibility (for the latter, UNOX shall operate in every reasonable manner to verify that the consent is provided or authorised by the individual with parental responsibility).
If we discover that personal information was collected from someone under 14 years old without the consent of a parent or the person with parental responsibility, we will erase those data and close the related account as quickly as possible.
Your data may be processed electronically or in paper form.
c) Is it necessary to provide personal data?
Submitting your data is optional. Nevertheless, if you do not submit your data we will not be able to provide you with the requested services, such as creating an account or sending us requests through the application.
Submitting your data so that we can send you marketing communications is optional and requires your prior consent. Even without this consent you will still be able to use the service, but UNOX will not be able to send you marketing or promotional communications.
d) How long do we store your data for?
We only store your data necessary to fulfil legal obligations and obligations related to using the application for the period of time strictly necessary for those purposes, and in any case for no longer than 10 years from the end of the contract (or last use of the application; to be certain of your intentions, we may send you a request to confirm if you wish to continue being one of our users, if you do not reply, we will assume you are no longer interested). After this period of time, your data will be erased or made anonymous.
e) To whom are your data communicated or transferred?
Your personal data are processed by authorised and specifically trained UNOX personnel.
Furthermore, your data may be communicated to the following categories of parties:
- third parties that carry out related or instrumental activities to the activity of UNOX as external data processors or autonomous controllers (e.g. suppliers in charge of the maintenance and development service of the UNOX computing system, IT and telematics service companies or storage companies);
- individuals, organisations or authorities, such as police forces or the legal authority, in cases where communication is obligatory due to legal provisions or to allow UNOX to certify, exercise or defend a right in legal proceedings.
The complete and up-to-date list of these parties is available from the UNOX offices and is available on request.
Your data will not be disclosed, unless this is necessary to fulfil obligations provided by the law or your school (in the event of student competitions where an app is used) publishes the winners on its internal noticeboards or on internet channels.
Your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area; in such case, UNOX will verify that the destination country is deemed suitable, that the recipient party is Privacy Shield certified or that it has group rules approved by the competent authorities or will sign agreements in this respect.
A copy of the appropriate or necessary guarantees adopted is available at the offices of UNOX and may be requested at any time.
f) What are your rights?
You can, at any time, exercise your rights to:
a) Access your personal data;
b) Rectify or erase your personal data;
c) Limit the processing of your personal data;
d) Oppose, at any time, for reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data in pursuit of the legitimate interests of UNOX, unless there are legitimate binding reasons to proceed with processing that prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms or to certify, exercise or defend a right of UNOX in legal proceedings;
e) Oppose, at any time, to the processing of your personal data carried out for the purposes of direct marketing;
f) Oppose, at any time, to the processing of your personal data to offer products or services similar to those purchased;

h) Revoke consent, at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent provided before the revocation.
In order to exercise these rights, you can contact UNOX at the following e-mail address: privacy@unox.it.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
